I spent my childhood afternoons biking from piano lessons to dance classes to rehearsals at my beloved community theater. My adolescence was defined by Musical Theater, North Carolina Bluegrass and Folk music, Classic Rock jam sessions with my family, and a persistent dream of forever centering art in my life.

After graduating from high school, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia to study Theater and Spanish at Emory University. While pursuing my B.A. in Theater Studies, I studied Meisner and Hagen Acting Techniques, Healthy Vocal Performance, Jazz and Ballet Dance, and the history, evolution, and possibilities of the American Musical. I developed my writing skills with Broadway Playwright Kimberly Belflower, and worked closely with brilliant Actor/Directors January LaVoy and Caitlin Hargraves.

While in Atlanta, I was an inaugural member of the College Cohort program at the Tony-Award Winning Alliance Theatre – a year-long position giving college students hands-on experience in performing, devising, and teaching. I helped develop Knock Knock – a now annual TYA play with The Bernhardt Theatre for the Very Young, and became an Alliance Musical Theater Teaching Artist.

I moved to New York City after graduating from college and have been training and performing since. I studied Stand-up Comedy at Asylum NYC, Musical Theater at Ryan Scott Oliver’s Actor Therapy, Vocal Technique at Matt Farnsworth Studio, and Screen Acting at Terry Schreiber Studio.

I recently returned to the Alliance Theatre for the 2024 workshop of Business Ideas, a new play by Milo Cramer. You can find me signing at the piano in Manhattan and doing stand-up comedy throughout Brooklyn!
